Wedding Plans

Salam Readers :)

Assalammualaikum. Haluu! I think i wanna start writing about weddings. My perfect dream wedding. On how i wish it to turn out one day. Even if not the whole plan works, at least some of it would (i hope) :) From the tiny winy small details to the bigger ones. Oh no, don't get me wrong. I'm not in any plans of getting married in the near future. Am just a typical lady who has her future plans :)

I must say, December is the perfect month to celebrate love. There's wedding reception going on every single weekend and i kinda get myself a lil bit into all this wedding thingy. And that's why i'm so excited to plan my very own wedding. Before i get started, u'll realize throughout ur 'tour' on reading my reality-fantasy plans, i take small details into account because every single detail involves $$$. Get what i mean? What i'm trying to say is as some of u might not know, i'm an account diploma holder and a soon-to-be finance degree holder (Insyaallah. Amin 100 kali!) so daaa, every sen is very valuable and i'm very, reaaally, truthfully serious about budget. Maka beta nak berjimat sebanyak mungkin even if it's only 10sen. Mind u, that harmless 10sen can turn out to be a deadly 1k so u wanna watch ur budget carefully. Bak kata my account lecturer, "Accountants are very stingy". Kurang je satu sen can make the the whole balance sheet turns topsy-turvy. So haruslah i jadi Bridezilla when it comes to budget. kihkih.

Voice: Amboi statement.. bile keluar shopping buat2 lupe lak ape definisi bajet kan.
Me: Ahh diam!

Ok lets start with the 'No-No' list:

1. Fake eyelashes. This is the tiny winy no-no details. I'm no fan of those and I don't need them to have that so-called barbie-perfect look.
2. Huge bun for my hair. Na'ah. So not gonna have that camel hump stick outta my head. We're no Jewish yaw.
3. Thick makeup. Don't wanna look plastic. Who says less makeup won't make u look good in pitcha? Ur makeup artist? Screw them!
4. Berlulut. Blerghhh~ Tanak. Bazir duit je sewa all the bajus.
5. Tanak pelamin time reception boleh? heheh, Membazirrrrrrrrrr~ Time akad boleh la dipertimbangkan. Simple dah la :)

These are the things that i hope i could avoid:

1. Bersanding. As in duduk atas pelamin just for that whole 5 sec. I don't mind the reception anyway. Just the bersanding thingy. For wedding reception lak, i have my own secretive idea. Hiks.
2. Hantaran sampai nak 20. 2,3 je blh tak? it's just a tradition yg membazir duit, not even an obligation in Islam so who cares?? Harap2 le bakal mertua setuju part nih. huhu. Kalo diorang nak sangat, diorang la bagi aku 20, aku bls 2,3 je :p Tapiii kalau ada extra duit tu apa salah gak nak bagi lebih kan. kesimpulannya bagi ikut kemampuan ar.
3. Adat bergendang. This one boleh avoid kot.

Minimize cost on:

1. Invitation card: Sesimple yang boleh. Design sendiri je la. Tanak wat mahal2. Org taruk tepi buat debu gak at the end of the day.
2. Doorgift: Buat sendiri kalo larat. Kenkonon la larattt.
3. Hantaran: Kalau boleh nak hias sendiri dengan kreatifnya (konon la kreatif :p). Tapi kalo xde pon xpe. Nanti dah kawin la claim dari suami mintak blanja itu ini :p Pulok dah.
4. Majlis persandingan: Takyah lew belah laki belah pompuan. Satu belah je cukoplah. Eh, ni pon tanak buat boleh tak? Huhu. Ganti ngan doa selamat je.

Extra spending on:

1. Cake: Yang ni mcm nak labur lebih je. hihihihihihihihihi (panjang aku gelak). Nak 5 tingkat! Over kau nyah! Tadi cakap nak bajet!! Mentang2 la ko suke kek2 ni kan. haha gurau je sisturrr. 
2. Photography and videography: As a photographer myself, i will invest more on this because the moment only happen once and it's no Astro boleh ulang2. Female photographer will be a priority unless i could's find one.

So my dear future in-laws (sesape la korang yang bertuah tu kan. kihkih), boleh eh? hee *batting eyelash* Nasib korang la dapat menantu macam ni :p
